Rep. Wexler resigns from Congress

Rep. Robert Wexler, a seven-term congressman from Florida, has <a href="http://www.politicsdaily.com/2009/10/14/rep-robert-wexler-resigning-to-address-middle-east-peace/">resigned his seat</a> effective in January to become executive director of the Center for Middle East Peace and Economic Cooperation. Wexler has been a strong supporter of regulating online poker in the United States, sponsoring the "Skill Game Protection Act" in 2007.
