Studz Poker Club, the new 29-table card room at Calder Casino & Race Course in Miami Gardens, will have its grand opening Oct. 23 (Friday).
The poker room is open from 9 a.m. Friday until 3 a.m. Sunday (24 hours) and then 9 a.m. till 3 a.m. all other days (18 hours). It’s located on the first floor of the grandstand at the west entrance and will offer the usual fare (hold’em, Omaha, and stud) plus daily and specialty tournaments. Amenities include tableside food and beverage service, massage service and parimutuel wagering on live and simulcast racing. Players also can earn benefits through the Twin Spires Club player reward program.
