Jim Freer of Bloodhorse.com has written an interesting story looking at what the return of quarter horse racing to Florida could mean for poker in the state.
Freer reports that the Isle at Pompano Park has delayed its request for quarter horse racing until next year (and removed an application to expand its poker room to 24 hours with the permit), and former Gulfstream Park presidents David Romanik and Paul Micucci want to open a quarter horse track and poker room near Tallahassee in 2010.
