The Poker Room at the Orange Park Kennel Club in Jacksonville will host a "Celebrity Poker Challenge" at 7 p.m. on Feb. 24. Registration begins at 6 p.m. The fundraiser, organized by the Uptown Civitan Club of Jacksonville, will benefit Pine Castle Inc., a South Jacksonville agency that serves developmentally disabled adults and children.
The entry fee is $350, but $265 is tax-deductible. There’s a $350 bounty on 10 local celebrities, including Gator Bowl president Rick Catlett and Jacksonville Suns president Peter Bragan. Go to www.pinecastle.org to register.
