Orange Park Kennel Club and St. Johns Greyhound Park, both near Jacksonville, Fla., have scheduled Ante Up Poker Cruise 3 satellite tournaments for October.
Orange Park’s event is at 1 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 1, and St. Johns’ is at 1 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 8. Both events have $130+$20 buy-ins and players start with 10,000 in units and 30-minute levels.
One Ante Up Cruise-for-2 package (worth $676) and $824 in cash is guaranteed for each event. If there’s enough money left in the Orange Park prize pool, and second $1,500 package will be awarded. If not, a second $1,500 will be available at St. Johns if the prize pool is large enough. If not, the third cruise package will be given out in a different promotion in one of the rooms.
The Ante Up Poker Cruise sails Oct. 25-29 from Port Canaveral, Fla., to the Bahamas with a professionally staffed and equipped 10-table poker room on board. Rates start at $299 per person based on double occupancy and are only guaranteed through Aug. 19.
