Throughout September, Orange Park Kennel Club and St. Johns Greyhound Park in Jacksonville are gathering entries for the Run for the Rolex tournament that will be Oct. 19 at St. Johns.
The tournament will be limited to 150 players. The winner gets a Rolex watch, while players who finish 2nd through 15th will win cash. With a full field, the tournament guarantees more than $20,000 in prizes.
Entries are awarded for the highest hand during each three-hour period that ends at 3 p.m., 6 p.m., 9 p.m. and midnight. The high hand each period also wins $100. If two hands tie, both hands win. High hands that are royal flushes win $200.
