The Seminole Casinos’ Mega Bad Beat Jackpot was hit for $285,816 at the Hard Rock in Tampa on March 21. It’s the third time the Mega has been won in Tampa since this promotion was introduced on Dec. 1, 2009.
Names of the winners were not given but a Tampa man won $142,905 when his quad jacks were beaten by a St. Pete woman’s straight flush. She won $85,743. The other seven players at the table won $7,146 each.
This is the fifth time the Mega has hit in one of the six participating Seminole Casinos as the total payouts have reached $1.4 million.
