One of the great privileges of owning Ante Up is that we get to visit poker rooms all across the nation all year long. And one thing is for certain every time we step foot in one: We’ll see players who absolutely love playing in THAT room.
Search the Internet and you’ll find any number of lists of the “best poker rooms.”
Ante Up has held contests to find out what rooms are best. But we’ve learned, and what authors of those other lists will soon learn, is the reason one player loves one room is not the same as why another player loves a different room.
Some like action, others like variety. Still others just like to have a cushy chair. Much like love, “best” is in the eye of the beholder.
So we’d like to do a simple experiment this month and we hope you’ll help us.
Go to Ante Up’s Facebook page or tag us in a tweet and tell the world why your poker room is your favorite. Be sure to use #MyPokerRoom so everyone can see it. It doesn’t matter whether you’re a player or an employee, if you think your room is the best, that means something. And then ask your friends to do the same.
No one is keeping score and no prizes will be awarded. This is just a simple and easy way to let others know why they should be playing where you’re playing.
