Tulalip Casino recently hosted its Poker Pow Wow with $17K added to its prize pool as Lyle Munday of Edmonds, Wash., led the way by winning Event 1 ($7K) and Event 9 ($4K). He also earned an extra $3K as overall champ. Not a bad week for a guy one week shy of his 84th birthday.
Here’s a list of the other winners, all from Washington: Per Cummings of Arlington (Event 2, $4K), Torn Saechao of Renton (Event 3, $5K), Glenn Konertz of Montlake Terrace (Event 4, $1K), Jay Zeman of Seattle (Event 5, $5K), Huong Lee of Bellevue (Event 6, $1K), Allen Thorpe of Green Acres (Event 7, $5K), Gennadiy Dvosis of Bellevue (Event 8, $1K) and Dan Beecher of Brush Prairie (Event 10, $1K). Nick Halvorson of Vaughn and Chaeng Yoo of Seattle chopped the main event for $35K each.
Tulalip is the second-largest room in the region with 20 tables.
