Tampa Bay Rays pitchers David Price and James Shields will be among the celebrities playing in the First Tee of St. Peterburg’s first Charity Poker Classic at 7 p.m. Sept. 16 at Derby Lane in St. Petersburg, Fla..
The buy-in is $150 and includes a meet-and-greet party at 5:30 p.m. with free food, soft drinks, beer and wine provided by Derby Lane. Rebuys in the first four levels are $50, and $50 add-ons will be available.
First-place wins $5,000 with a full field of 200 players, and the entire final table earns cash and Rays prizes. Bounty prizes for knocking out celebrities, who also include Jeff Niemann, Todd Kalas, Tom Foley, Jim Hickey and Don Zimmer (if available).
Meet-and-greet tickets are $50 and $5 raffle tickets will be sold.
