On May 2, Mardi Gras Casino’s poker room hosts the High Heels & Boots hold’em tournament presented by Dress For Success Miami. Dress for Success Miami is part of Dress for Success Worldwide, an international not-for-profit organization that promotes the economic independence of disadvantaged women by providing professional attire, a network of support and the career development tools to help women thrive in work and in life.
Everyone is invited to play in this event, which starts at 6:30 p.m. in the Big Easy Poker Room located on the first floor of Mardi Gras Casino. The tournament offers the final top four players cash prizes, with first place taking home $1,100. The buy-in is $150 for pre-registered players and $180 if registered at the door.
A poker refresher course offered by the High Heels Poker Tour Academy will be available at 5:30 p.m. for an additional $60.
