Kenny Levy of Boca Raton, Vitor Coelho of Tampa and Adam Adler of Ft. Lauderdale each won undercard events at the Borgata Poker Open over the weekend.
Levy won the $400 Seniors no-limit hold’em tournament, besting nearly 180 players and pocketing $19,296. Joining him at the final table was fellow Boca resident Joe Bovino, who finished third ($5,951). Sarasota’s Ron Puleo also made the final table, finishing seventh ($2,506).
Coelho took down Event 17, a $1,625 NLHE event with 238 starters. He won $107,100. Fellow Tampa resident Jeff Coutroulis was third ($33,380), Sharon Levin of Ft. Lauderdale was sixth and Ante Up columnist Chris Dombrowski of Wesley Chapel was seventh ($14,280).
Adler won the $560 NLHE tournament, good for $59,242 as 414 players entered Event 16. Brian Goldstein of Pompano Beach made the final table, finishing seventh ($8,280).
The victories mean four Floridians have won titles at the Borgata in Atlantic City this month. Coconut Creek’s Justin Levy won Event 12 earlier in the week, a $350+ $50 NLHE ($48,382).
