Twenty-four players from Florida have or will cash in this year’s World Series of Poker Main Event. Fourteen return to the felt today at 3 p.m. ET for Day 5.
Kevin Schaffel of Coral Springs continues to lead the Floridian contingent with 1,206,000 in chips (17th place). Dan Bilzerian, who was fourth overall in chips two days ago, but began yesterday as one of the shortest stacks, is now back in the top 40.

Ten Floridians ended their Main Event run on Saturday with money in their pockets. Robert Campbell of North Miami got his fourth cash of the Series, ending this Series with $104,264 in prize money. Anders Taylor of Gainesville got his third cash of the Series, and Kyle Brown of Ft. Lauderdale and Jason Sackler of Orlando each got their second.
Floridians now have earned more than $4 million in prize money at the World Series this year.
