Two University of West Florida professors, writing in the Pensacola News Journal, say full casino gambling throughout Florida could result in $3.8 billion in tax revenue for the state.

Robert Fahnestock and Antonio Apap say population studies show that Florida could support 90 to 270 commercial casinos. They cite the average casino job pays $38,000 a year, which would spur additional spending in the state.
