Florida Today in an <a href="http://www.floridatoday.com/article/20090127/OPINION/90126034/1006/NEWS01">editorial</a> has endorsed an idea to allow Port Canaveral gaming ships to open their tables while docked, rather than having to sail out to international waters, as well as letting parimutel and other gambling operators around the state to do the same thing.
The proposal would need a change in state law.
