The Florida Division of Pari-Mutuel Wagering has denied Gulfstream Park and Hialeah Park a permit that the agency took away from Hialeah Park in 2003.
Jim Freer of <a href="http://www.bloodhorse.com/horse-racing/articles/54457/hialeah-gulfstream-battle-over-racing-permit">Bloodhorse.Com</a> said the agency determined that the permit can not be reissued. Both tracks were hoping to use the permit to operate poker 24 hours a day.
