The Seminole Mega Bad Beat Poker Jackpot has been hit again, this time for $147,359.00 at Seminole Hard Rock Tampa about 48 hours after the debut hit of $365,407 on Jan. 3 at the original Seminole Casino in Hollywood, Fla. That brings the total payout for the recently introduced property-wide poker bad beat jackpot to more than half-a-million-dollars so far.

The hand was hit at 9:20 p.m. on Jan. 5 when four kings were beaten by a heart royal flush in hold’em. Wesley P. of Gainesville, Fla. was the big winner with $73,680; Keith E. of Riverview, Fla. had the kings for $44,208. The other seven players split the remaining $29,472 or $4,211 per person.

“We’re excited for our poker players; the multi-casino approach to larger, more frequent bad beat jackpots,” Jeffrey Hook, vice president of marketing for Seminole Gaming said.
