Alex Phahurat moves into 16th place in Ante Up POY race

Alex Phahurat of Rogers, Ark., has moved into 16th place in the race for Ante Up’s 2012 Player of the Year.

Phahurat won the $2,000-buy-in Chad Brown Poker Challenge main event at Choctaw Casino Resort in Durant, Okla., which began April 27. Phahurat won $116,492 in the 258-player event.

Phahurat earned 690.86 Ante Up POY points, good for 16th place. Abraham Araya of Carrollton, Texas, remains in first place with 1,314 points.
