A deal was reached to pay the bubble, meaning 15 players each earned $1,840 in Event #5 of the Ante Up World Championship – $225 No-Limit Hold’em Survivor – at Thunder Valley Casino Resort in Lincoln, Calif.
The survivor style pays all cashers evenly when the money bubble breaks rather than a traditional top-down payout structure.
In other news from the Ante Up World Championship, Friday’s Open Face Poker event has been moved to a 3 p.m. start.
