The $25K WPT World Championship at the Bellagio in Las Vegas saw plenty of southern talent making money, but only one player made the final table: the legendary Billy Baxter of Augusta, Ga.
Baxter, who is a lowball specialist with seven WSOP bracelets, finished fifth for $246,921.
