At this time of year, the Thanksgiving holiday signifies annual traditions and meanings for those of us fortunate enough to live in the United States. My favorite Thanksgiving tradition is saying thank you to all of those who have enriched my life and work over the past year.

A huge heartfelt thanks to all of our great Ante Up fans and readers, because of you our publication has grown to become the No. 1 poker publication nationwide. It’s my goal to keep bringing you the best in poker news and events from the great Oklahoma and Kansas area. Your input and comments are always appreciated and welcome.

Thanks to all of those who are employed in the poker industry; you work hard so we can play. Your dedication and high standards have played a major role in the explosive growth and evolution of the game of poker.

Thanks to our advertisers for your support. We hope you realize big dividends from spending your marketing dollars on advertising your poker room and events in Ante Up.

Thanks to Dale Hunter, the poker room manager at Downstream Casino in Oklahoma for hosting the new and exciting Ante Up Poker Tour to his property. I know under your expertise the venue will be a resounding success, and we’re looking forward to the AUPT in Oklahoma in May 2013.

Thanks to one of poker’s finest, Lou Krieger, for being a great role model in the poker industry, and for displaying inspirational courage and bravery. Wishing you a speedy recovery and looking forward to seeing you on an Ante Up Poker Cruise soon.

Last, but certainly not least, thanks a million to Christopher Cosenza and Scott Long, the hardest working poker publishers hands down. Thanks for your integrity and vision. I’m proud to be on your team.
Thanks and a happy Thanksgiving to all.
