Washington
Angel of the Winds Casino: A crazy pineapple tournament is being spread at the Arlington property every Thursday at 12:30 p.m. with a $40 buy-in, 2,500 chips, and 12-minute rounds. Go, all you tournament crazy Sea-Applers!
Diamond Lil’s Casino: The Break the Wheel jackpot promotion has hit the Renton poker room. If you make a straight flush on the flop or turn and then a six-card straight flush on the river, you’ll “Break the Wheel” and win a progressive jackpot (recently hit for more than $18,000).
Clearwater Casino: The Suquamish poker room is making it easier for PNW players to enter the World Series of Poker by running satellites. Visit clearwatercasino.com and follow the links to satellite sign-ups.
Snoqualmie Casino: The poker room is running 11 no-limit hold’em tournaments per week, including Mondays ($25/unlimited rebuys/1,500 chips, 7 p.m.); Wednesdays ($65/5,000 chips, with a $10 bounty on all players, 7 p.m.); Thursdays ($125/8,000 chips, 7 p.m.); and Sundays (turbo $35/3,000 chips, 3 p.m.).
Muckleshoot Casino: The Auburn poker room is spreading a $15-$30 Omaha/8 game (with a $20-$40 kill) on Thursdays and Saturdays at 4 p.m. The game is played 10-handed (with no overs). Sign up at the front desk to reserve your seat.
Tulalip Casino: The Marysville property has a mini hold’em jackpot in which players win 10 percent of the bad-beat jackpot. They qualifier is aces full of jacks (or better) beaten by quads (or better). Four players must be playing, $20 must be in the pot and both cards must play in both hands.
Oregon
Spirit Mountain Casino: The Grand Ronde poker room’s morning tournaments start at 10:30 with $100 added. Monday is limit hold’em ($30-$40, 3,000-4,000 chips, 20-minute rounds); Tuesday is stud/8 ($30-$40, 3,000-4,000 chips, 20 minutes); and Wednesday is Omaha/8 ($30-$40, 3,000-4,000 chips, 20 minutes).
