The Women’s Poker Association is promoting Oct. 1 as International #RaiseItUp Day to help combat abuse at the poker tables.
The organization, which maintains a certification program for poker rooms interesting in addressing abuse of players, is asking anyone involved with poker to share on their social media accounts a photo of them with the #RaiseItUp logo while pointing their pointer finger up in the air.
