Hill County Card Club in Cedar Park, Texas, will host a tournament on Oct. 11 to raise money for the family of Javier Ambler, who died in police custody.
The Javier “Gata” Ambler tournament will begin at 2 p.m. Buy-in is $50 with a $25 seat fee, and players will get an additional 5,000 units for a $10 dealer appreciation add-on. Rebuys for $50 will be available until the break. Proceeds will be split between the prize pool and Ambler’s family.
