Wynn Resorts releases changes to poker room

While there is no timetable for the reopening of the Wynn Las Vegas, Encore Las Vegas or Encore Boston Harbor Resort, the parent company of the three casinos has released a 28-page document detailing new protocols for when they do reopen.

According to the document, changes to the poker room will include:
Cleaning & Disinfecting Protocol
(a) All chips will be cleaned and sanitized before leaving the cage using a commercial
high temperature dish washer or UV light
b) Cards will be changed and disinfected at least every two hours
c) Supervisors to disinfect table game rails after each customer leaves (ongoing)
d) Supervisors to disinfect each chair area after a customer leaves (ongoing)
e) Supervisors to disinfect the outside of shufflers every hour; inside to be cleaned
once per week
f) Supervisors to assist disinfect podiums at least once per hour including phones,
computers, Veridocs, all hard surface and cabinetry
g) Dealers to disinfect in table rating units each time they enter a game
h) Dealers to disinfect toke boxes
Physical Distancing Protocol
a) Every other table open and tables to be staggered
b) Maximum of four seats per game
c) Dealers to verbally give breaks instead of “tapping in” and maintain appropriate
separation
Guest Considerations
a) Guests will be reminded to sanitize their hands prior to the start of play
b) Food service protocols to be reviewed
