Muckleshoot Casino’s Summer Classic series, which ran Sept. 25-28, featured $55K added to the prize pool, much to the delight of its players. Here are the winners: Randy Thompson of Puyallup, Wash., (Event 1, $9K), Tim Zhou of Seattle (Event 2, $21K), Albert Caldaron of Chandler, Ariz., (Event 3, $29K) and Raymond Spencer of Samamish, Wash. (Event 4, $43K). Thompson also won $5K for being the overall points champion.

Muckleshoot is 31 miles southeast of Seattle in Auburn, Wash., and is the largest poker room in the region with 32 tables. The room routinely spreads $4-$8 hold’em and Omaha/8, $3-$5 NLHE (subject to the state-mandated $500 limit per bet, of course) and occasionally a $15-$30 Omaha/8 game runs.

WILDHORSE RESORT AND CASINO: From Nov. 6-16, the four-table poker room (four miles east of Pendleton, Ore.) will close while the bingo hall spreads a sea of poker tables for the Fall Round Up poker series. This is the largest of the three-times per year Round Ups as buy-ins range from $120 to $1,500, with a two-day $530 main event the second weekend. Also, $225 Omaha/8 and HORSE events will run, with dozens of cash games springing up as the tournament tables break.
