Ante Up Poker Magazine has just learned the World Series of Poker Circuit’s National Championship location may be in doubt.

Caesars Atlantic City, which closed its poker room just before the start of 2014, will not host its usual World Series of Poker Circuit stop in the spring. But this also means the location of the WSOPC National Championship, which was scheduled to be at Caesars AC in May, is in doubt.

This doesn’t mean Caesars AC won’t still host the May event in its ballroom, but it was removed from WSOP.com and Caesars said the schedule was up in the air and could not comment further. Caesars officials will be working to solidify the schedule by next week.

The national championship, which could end up returning to New Orleans if the New Jersey location can’t be rectified, will be televised on ESPN and WSOP will offer online satellites.

Stay tuned to Ante Up for more details as they develop.
