Structures for the Ante Up Poker Tour World Championship July 28-Aug. 3 at the Hard Rock Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic have been been posted on the event’s website.
In addition, changes have been made to the event schedule so a 15th tournament could be added.
The $1,100 main event has been shortened to two days, with Day 1 on Thursday, Aug. 1, and the completion on Friday, Aug. 2. The winner of the main event will appear on the cover of the September issue of Ante Up Magazine, and win a custom champion’s bracelet from Pro Poker Gear, a custom hoodie from Poker Life Gear and a personalized champion’s jacket from Ante Up.
New events include an All-In-or-Fold event, a second Pot-Limit Omaha/No-Limit Hold’em combo event and an additional $115 No-Limit Hold’em event. The Ante-Only and Stud-8/Omaha-8 events have been deleted to accommodate the new offerings.
Only seven discounted all-inclusive hotel rooms remain at the Hard Rock Punta Cana for $275 per night for up two people. Players must book through this link to be offered the discounted rate.
After the discounted rooms sell out, guests can elect to book direct with Hard Rock Punta Cana at prevailing rates, or can opt to stay at any other Punta Cana hotel or resort as the Ante Up Poker Tour World Championship and the Hard Rock Punta Cana casino are open to the public.
