Ante Up Midwest Championship: Events #6-10-11-12 recap

The Ante Up Midwest Championship, an Ante Up Poker Tour event at Running Aces Harness Park near Minneapolis, Minn., wrapped up on Sunday with champions crowned in four events, including the Main Event (see separate article).

Kevin Quaas, left, won Event #6 ($250 no-limit hold’em), Joe Palensky won Event $10 ($50 no-limit hold’em with rebuys), Shane Nelson won Event #11 ($300 no-limit hold’em deepstack) and Thomas Edgar won Event #12 ($100 no-limit Omaha).

While the Ante Up Midwest Championship has officially concluded, at noon today a $435 satellite for the Ante Up Poker Tour World Championship will be held with one seat guaranteed and registration open until 4 p.m.

Top 10 cashers in all Ante Up Midwest Championship event earn Ante Up Player of the Year points, and the champion of the main event wins a personalized Ante Up tour champion jacket, a bracelet from Pro Poker Gear and will be featured on the cover of the June issue of Ante Up Magazine.
