The Super 77 Jackpot at Arizona’s Wild Horse Pass started at $25K, but has ballooned to $149K at press time. All you need to win is a hold’em hand of four sevens or better, that gets beat. This poker room’s 24-7 bad beat for hold’em, stud and Omaha games was $16,008. Another great reason to play in this poker room is the half-price poker menu. Its sister casino, Vee Quiva in Phoenix, offers the same Super 77 Jackpot, but the bad beat was $26,456.

HARRAH’S AK-CHIN: This poker room near Phoenix is hopping with a variety of rotating World Series of Poker satellite events, such as for the ladies only $1K event ($50 buy-in, two $20 rebuys on April 6 and May 4); seniors only (50-plus) $1K event ($50, two $20 rebuys on April 13 and May 11); $1,500 Omaha ($65, two $25 rebuys on April 20 and May 18); and the casino employee $500 event ($40, two $15 rebuys on April 27 and May 25).

CASINO DEL SOL: The Spring Poker Leagues Championships are May 8 at 7 p.m. Ninety players from three leagues will compete for a $7,500 guaranteed prize pool.

TALKING STICK: The Arena Poker Room of Talking Stick Resort features Super Sports Promotions until April 8, with many chances to win hats and bonus cash giveaways. With its giant scoreboard, 16 flatscreens and sports ticker, every event should be extremely well-covered in the Arena.
All Sports Promo tickets pay $200 for score in the correct order and $100 for score in the reverse order, after the first half and at the end of each game. Players will be given tickets at the beginning of the game and at halftime, as well as tickets for all remaining games that day. So, players who remain playing poker can win money during the later games as well.
