Events #7-#9 recap: Red Rock/Ante Up Magazine Poker Challenge

The Red Rock/Ante Up Magazine Poker Challenge Ante Up Poker Tour event continued on Wednesday at Red Rock Casino Resort Spa in Las Vegas with three more events, including heads-up and pot-limit Omaha events.

Mike Shindorf, who won the heads-up event, now has two cashes, as does Seth Weinberg, who finished third in the pot-limit Omaha event. Ante Up publisher Scott Long picked up his third cash by taking second in the 6 p.m. no-limit hold’em event.

The $1,100 main event of the Red Rock/Ante Up Magazine Poker Challenge begins Friday, with flights at noon and 7 p.m. (with two additional flights Saturday at the same times). Two other events remain in the series as well. All events qualify for Ante Up’s Player of the Year race.
