The Chinook Winds Casino will host a DeepStacks Poker Tour series February 2-11. The PacWest Classic will be a 10-day series that consists of 18 events with entries starting at $55 and culminating with the $1,100 main event.

Starting things off is a $215 re-entry event with two starting days. Players have unlimited re-entries for the first three levels on Days 1A and 1B. Most days have a $125 satellite to the main event in the evening, with a $250 mega-satellite the day before and a last-chance turbo two hours before the main event, which begins Feb. 9 at noon, which will have a $100K guarantee and allow for re-entries for the first three levels.

The final table (Feb. 11) will be streamed on the Internet.
Other interesting tournaments on the schedule are $125 six-max (Feb. 5), a $125 Omaha/8 (Feb. 6) and a $125 bounty tournament with $25 bounties (Feb. 7).

With the series running up to three events a day, the Chinook Winds Casino is doing big things to get ready, including bringing in at least 40 poker tables to handle the crowds. Chinook Winds is in Lincoln City, Ore., 85 miles southwest of Portland. Players can stay at the adjacent beachfront Chinook Winds Resort.
