Joshua Hale of San Diego, Calif., has moved into eighth place in the race for Ante Up’s 2012 Player of the Year.
Hale won the $3,700-buy-in World Poker Tour Legends of Poker main event at the Bicycle Casino in Bell Gardens, Calif. Hale earned $500,000 for winning the 622-player event that began Aug. 24.
Hale earned 1139.31 Ante Up Player of the Year points, good enough for eighth place in the Ante Up Player of the Year race. John Dolan of Biloxi, Miss., remains in the lead with 1,906 points.
