Danny Shiff moves into 16th place in Ante Up POY race

Danny Shiff of Aventura, Fla., has moved into 16th place in the race for Ante Up’s 2012 Player of the Year.

Shiff finished fourth in the $2,200-buy-in World Poker Tour Summer Splash main event at Seminole Hard Rock Hollywood in Hollywood, Fla. Michael Franzin of Deefield, Ill., earned $130,505 for winning the 198-player event that began Aug. 24.

Shiff earned 305.52 Ante Up Player of the Year points for a total of 883, good enough for 16th place. John Dolan of Biloxi, Miss., remains in the lead with 1,906 points.
