The Snoqualmie Casino poker room is giving away money during 115 of the Seattle Mariners televised games. During the M’s broadcasts, one active poker room player, sitting in a lucky seat, termed “the hot seat,” will win $150.
The “lucky seat” drawing for $150 will be made after each of nine innings, even if the Mariners don’t score.
Under the direction of poker room manager, Elliott Schecter, several new no-limit hold’em tournaments are planned, including a Monday event at 7 p.m. that costs $25 and has unlimited rebuys (1,500 chips). Other new events include Wednesday (7 p.m., $65, 5K chips); Thursday (7 p.m., $125, 8K chips); and Sunday (3 p.m., turbo $35, 3K in chips). These tournaments are in addition to the regular six morning-afternoon tournaments.
TULALIP CASINO: Marie Freeman has been named poker room manager in Marysville, Wash. Freeman had served as the room’s tournament director.
MUCKLESHOOT CASINO: An exciting new format has been designed for the Monday night tournament.
