Barry Hutter moves into 5th place in Ante Up’s POY race

Barry Hutter of Bradenton, Fla., has moved into fifth place in the race for Ante Up’s 2012 Player of the Year.

Hutter won the $1,080-buy-in WPT Stax Showdown main event at Seminole Coconut Creek in Coconut Creek, Fla., which began March 10. Hutter earned $62,250 for the victory in the 231-player field.

It was Hutter’s second POY finish of the season. He previously finished fifth at Daytona Beach Kennel Club in February. Hutter earned 613.04 Ante Up POY points, good for fifth place. Abraham Araya of Carrollton, Texas, remains in first place with 1,314 points.
