North Florida’s new poker room, BestBet Jacksonville, is slated to open in late February and will be Florida’s largest cardroom with 71 tables. BestBet Jacksonville, at Atlantic Boulevard and Monument Road, will have an expansive simulcast facility with numerous 120-inch screens and food-and-beverage service.
It’s less than 20 minutes from Jacksonville International Airport and 15 minutes from Jacksonville’s beaches.
The first major tournament at the room will be the WPT Jacksonville BestBet Open (April 27-May 2), which will be televised and boast a $1 million guaranteed prize pool. This main event comes at the tail end of the room’s spring series that begins April 19 and features 14 tournaments.
Jacksonville Greyhound Racing and Poker also operates BestBet St. Johns and BestBet Orange Park Kennel Club. All locations offer poker and simulcast wagering.
