Day 5 of the World Poker Tour World Poker Finals at Foxwoods was fairly short as the returning eight players had to get down to the final six for the televised WPT final table. That action didn’t take too long and by the end of the day, Steven Brackesy led the way with 1.807 million in chips.
Heading into the day, Eli Berg held the shortest stack, followed by Bob Carbone, which meant all eyes would be on them. On the 49th hand of the day, Berg was able to double through Jonathan Little.
According to the WPT Live Update Team, Little, in the small blind, raised to 31,000 with the blinds at 6,000/12,000/2,000. From the big blind, Berg reraised all-in for 372,000. Little quickly called holding 
. Berg held 
. After the board ran out 
, Berg won the pot and doubled through to leave Little as the short stack.
A few hands later, on the 58th hand of the day, Little hit the rail. He raised all-in for 169,000 from the button and Brackesy called from the big blind with the 
. He had Little’s 
in bad shape. The flop, turn and river ran out 
and Little was eliminated.
Chris Klodnicki was the next player to go, bubbling the official WPT final table in seventh place when he fell on the 81st hand of the day.
With the same blinds and antes, Brackesy raised to 25,000 from the button. Klodnicki was in the small blind and made the call to take the 
flop. Klodnicki bet 54,000 and Brackesy raised all-in, having Klodnicki covered. Klodnicki made the call to put himself at risk, holding 
. Brackesy held 
for a big draw. The on the turn gave Brackesy all he needed before the 
completed the board on the river to officially end things. He sent Klodnicki to the rail in seventh place and officially ended the day with the final table set.

The final table will take place on Tuesday at 1600 EDT (2000 GMT) and play won’t stop until a winner is crowned. There’s $449,910 up top for the champion and it’s anybody’s game.
