On Thursday, we brought you part one of "Meet Your November Nine." In part two, we’ll introduce you to the remaining players on the November Nine roster. Check out the videos below to get a little more information about the players and what they were thinking the day after they made the prestigious final table.
Sam Holden
Sam Holden, 22, made his WSOP debut in 2011. Before the Main Event, this pro from England had $11,311 in cashes ― all in the U.K. He will take the shortest stack into play in November ― 12,375,000 ― and will be seated in seat six.
Phil Collins
Phil Collins will be in seat four in November with a stack of 23,875,000. The 26-year-old from Las Vegas might have a few live cashes but is known most for his online poker prowess.
Matt Giannetti
Matt Giannetti, 26, from Las Vegas, had close to $500,000 in career cashes before playing in the 2011 WSOP Main Event. He will take a stack of 24,750,000 to the final table inside the Penn and Teller Theater in November and will occupy seat one.
Anton Makiievskyi
Anton Makiievskyi, a 21-year-old from the Ukraine, made his first-ever WSOP appearance this summer. He could become the fifth Ukrainian to win a WSOP bracelet this year, which would tie the Ukraine with Canada for second-most bracelets by any country this year. He is also the first player from the Ukraine to ever make the Main Event final table. He will be seated in seat five with a stack of 13,825,000.
If you’re counting, you know we’ve only brought you eight videos in parts 1 and 2 about the November Nine, but we haven’t missed anyone. Eoghan O’Dea, 26, failed to show up at the media junket. He is the son of poker pro Donnacha O’Dea, who is a member of the European Poker Players Hall of Fame. Eoghan O’Dea says he learned to play poker from the television show "Late Night Poker." When play resumes in November, he will be seated in seat three behind a 39,925,000 chip stack.
You can be sure that PokerNews will be at the Rio in November to bring you all the action from the felt at the Penn and Teller Theater. Until then, follow us on Twitter for up-to-the-minute news.
