Ante Up publishers Scott Long and Chris Cosenza and Ante Up columnist Don Baruch will be among the celebrity bounties in a tournament to benefit the families of two Tampa, Florida, police officers killed in the line of duty.

The Curtis/Kocab Memorial Fund Charity Tournament events kick off with a dinner at 7 p.m. Sept. 1 at Copa Restaurant & Lounge in Tampa. The $50 ticket gets players a dinner of Spanish food with jazz music, and also includes an entry into the tournament. An auction is also planned.

The actual tournament will feature four preliminary tournaments with the top 15% in each advancing the main event. Prelims are set for 1 p.m. and 7 p.m. on Sept. 6-7 at Tampa Bay Downs in Tampa. Buy-in is $30 for 1,000 units with an additional 1,000 units available for a $10 dealer add-on. At the end of the third round, an optional $20 add-on will get players an additional 5,000 units.

The main event will be at 6 p.m. Sept. 8. Players knocking out celebrities will win an bounty package.
