A September charity poker tournament will raise money for the families of two Tampa, Fla., police officers slain in the line of duty June 29.

The Nutz Poker League, Tampa Bay Downs and Copa Restaurant & Lounge have teamed for the three-day event to benefit the Curtis/Kocab Memorial Fund, which provides support for the families of Officers David Curtis and Jeffrey Kocab.

The tournament will run from Sept. 6-8 at Tampa Bay Downs. Buy-in is $30 with a $10 dealer add-on and unlimited $10 rebuys through the first three levels, after which a $20 add-on will be offered. Players knocking out a celebrity bounty will receive a photo with the celebrity and a special prize package.

Ante Up publishers Scott Long and Chris Cosenza and Ante Up columnist Don Baruch will be among the celebrity bounties.

A dinner/private auction will precede the tournament on Sept. 1 at Copa Restaurant.
