It took five events at this year’s circuit stop in New Orleans for The South to finally grab a gold ring.
Michael Scott won the $340 NLHE event on May 11, pocketing $22,160 and his first circuit ring. Turns out Scott had missed his flight back to Florida because he survived longer than he had anticipated. He said it was worth it.
