North Miami’s Michael Johnson outlasted Malcolm Purow and a strong field of challengers to win Gulftstream Park’s 2010 Cash Is King Challenge in Hallandale, Fla.
The freeroll event was the latest in Gulfstream’s Tournament Challenge Series, which awards leaderboard points for tournament play, then advances the top 50 point-earners to a finale awarding cash and prizes.
