Walt Strakowski Jr. of West Palm Beach won the March 13 Ante Up Poker Tour event and $1,700 at Calder Casino.
The event drew 40 players.
It was Strakowski’s sixth win of the season, and he extended his already large lead in the Player of the Year race. He now has 7,600 points. Mitchell Abrahams of Miami (4th, $600) also added to his points total, and is now in 4th place with 2,925 points.
