The Palm Beach Princess day cruise ship has ceased operations from the Port of Palm Beach, WPBF.Com reports.
The ship will sail to Haiti to assist with relief efforts in that earthquake-wracked nation. The cruise line is keeping options open about eventually returning to the Port of Palm Beach, where is still retains a lease.
Meanwhile, the South Florida Sun-Sentinel reports that Celebration Cruise Lines has announced that it will move its ship from the Port Everglades in Ft. Lauderdale to the Port of Palm Beach, where it will make multi-day cruises to The Bahamas. The ship is also entertaining the idea of day cruises on the days that it is not sailing to The Bahamas. No word yet on whether live poker will be offered on the Celebration.
