Ocala Poker is holding a satellite event for the Southern Poker Championship Main Event at 2 p.m. on Jan. 2.
The Southern Poker Championship at the Beau Rivage Resort in Biloxi, Miss., is a televised World Poker Tour event.
Buy-in for the satellite is $150 for 10,000 in starting chips, with an additional 5,000 in chips for a $10 dealer add-on. Levels are 30 minutes long. With a field of at least 83 players, the winner will win a $10,000 buy-in to the WPT event and $1,000 in travel money.
