Davie’s Jason Mercier didn’t let the disappointment of letting Europe’s World Series of Poker Main Event slip away linger for too long.
On Monday, Mercier captured an undercard event at the European Poker Tour’s London stop, winning $185,000 U.S. The buy-in was £2,500.
Mercier had won nearly $450,000 U.S. for his fourth-place finish at the WSOPE Main Event, plus he won a PLO bracelet in Las Vegas earlier in the summer, signing a Team PokerStars deal shortly thereafter.
