Kevin Schaffel of Coral Springs decided November was too far away to have to wait to play on a televised final table. A member of the WSOP main event’s November Nine, Schaffel is the chipleader heading into today’s final table of the World Poker Tour’s Legends of Poker main event in L.A.
When the final six return to the table tonight (7 p.m. ET) Schaffel will have 2.234 million chips, slightly more than Todd Terry (2.219M). They are playing for the $1.034 million first prize.
