58 from Florida survive WSOP Main Event Day 1C



Fifty-eight players from Florida survived Day 1C of this year’s World Series of Poker Main Event.

Thomas Gabriel of Gainesville leads the Florida field on this day with 95,325  in chips.

Today is the final Day 1, and crowds of hopefuls were turned away when the day sold out before the noon start.

On Tuesday, Day 1A and 1B survivors resume play, and on Wednesday, Day 1C and 1D survivors resume.
