On July 18 (Saturday), La Amistad Foundation will host its second annual hold’em poker tournament to benefit the residents of Lakewood Center, a long-term residential treatment center for individuals with chronic mental illness such as schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, major depression and autism.
Numerous prizes, drawings and auction items plus a BBQ dinner will be offered as well. A beginners class is free of charge. The event will be at the Elks Lodge in Winter Park. Single tickets are $50.
